1) Are you at least 21 years of age?
2) Are you a United States citizen?
3) Do you have a Bachelor's degree today?
If not, you may still qualify if you'll have it by the next academy or through other education paths.4) Will you have your Bachelor's degree by our next academy class?
5) Do you have at least 3 years of active-duty U.S. military service?
6) Do you have at least 2 years of police officer (patrol) experience?
7) Do you have at least 60 accredited college hours?
8) Are you a current City of Plano civilian Police employee or public safety communications employee with at least 2 years of service, and do you have (or will you have by start date) at least 60 accredited college hours?
