Bluebonnet Trail Greenbelt
Bluebonnet Trail runs from Central Expressway to Midway Road, following an Oncor power line easement and along Spring Creek Parkway and Chase Oaks Boulevard. It intersects with the Chisholm Trail in the center of Plano and connects with the Preston Ridge Trail at Carpenter Park.

Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt is a regional trail that follows the eastern edge of Plano, connecting from Richardson to Allen. This trail is part of the 2001 Six Cities Trail Plan between the cities of Allen, Frisco, Garland, McKinney, Plano and Richardson, which includes a total of the 8.5 miles of trail through Plano.
Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve
Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano's largest park, is 800 acres and extends from Parker Road on the south to Chaparral Road on the north and from Spring Creek Parkway on the west to Los Rios Boulevard on the east.
